Party

Kylie's school does all holiday parties the Friday before the holiday, so yesterday was her Halloween party. She is Ariel this year. Aunt Becky, we have an idea for next year but will need your help :)

Nice weather

Last night was a beautiful night for a stroll to the park!

Kylie out grew her Tigers shirt, but that doesn't stop her from watching the game and cheering for the Tigers! When the game started tonight, both kiddos stopped what they were doing to watch for a second.
When I first tried to take a picture, Kylie asked if she could take pictures!

A weekend of possible lasts

Possibly the last Bon fire on Friday night, it was chilly, but the kids had fun and so did the moms and dads!
Saturday was Kylie's last soccer game, the girls played well and Kylie even scored a goal!

Parade

Last night we went to the Byron Center Homecoming parade, we are slowly learning how to be Byron Center involved. :) Drew was not a big fan of the loud fire trucks at the beginning, but loved the rest, and Kylie lived it all :)

A little out of order

I forgot to share this picture. It is from on our way home from Wisconsin,we stopped at a gas station and there was this elephant wearing glasses statue! Kylie said she needed her picture taken with it, so while Todd pumped gas, I took pictures of Kylie with the elephant ;)

Today my friend Melanie and I took the kids to Binder Park Zoo, I think they all had a good time!

We are all home together again! While we all had fun, I was glad to see my kiddos today and I think they were happy to be with me :) Well, at least Drew was :)

We took Drew to his first baseball game today! We went to see the West Michigan Whitecaps play the Bowling Green Hot Rods! The Whitecaps won and the kids had fun!

Party

Today we celebrated my dad's recent retirement! We had a party at their house! Both of my children had a ton of fun! My dad's friends brought guitars and sang! Here is Miss Kylie enjoying some music!

Open gym

Tonight Kylie and I went to open gymnastics at For the Kidz with Melanie and Niklas and Katelyn! The kids had so much fun and were exhausted by the time we left!

Beach

Kylie loves to go to the beach, and today I took her. We met up with a few of my good friends, I have gone with them three times already this summer, but for whatever reason, Kylie has not gone with me, so she was super excited to go today! I didn't think I could handle both kids by myself, ok, well, I could, it would just be tough! I would need a cool beach buggy to get both kids and our stuff onto the sand!
Kylie played with Natalie, Marshall, and Fletcher: they spent time in the water and digging holes!

Pintersting

I have made a few pinterest inspired items and today I worked on another, I will take a picture when it is completely finished! Today's project was a schedule frame! Maybe when I finish this one I will take a pic of all pinterest projects and post what I have accomplished!

17 months

Drew has become such an amazing little guy! He is 17 months already!

Times have changed

When we were in college we went to numerous Verve Pipe concerts. Now The Verve Pipe plays children's music, and they were playing a concert in EGR tonight! We decided to take the kids and it was fun, but so different!

Coldplay!!!!!

Todd and I took a little trip to The Palace of Auburn Hills to see Coldplay! One more group to take off the concert list :)

Cool bracelet

So here is another picture from the Coldplay concert. When we walked in we were handed a bracelet and on the monitors in the arena there were directions to put the bracelet on and to enjoy the show! When the concert started all of the bracelets lit up and pulsed to the beat!

Sharing

Drew is kind of a pistol, especially when food is involved! Today Kylie was eating some popcorn and Drew decided he wanted some too! He climbed onto her lap and got his hands on the bag and dumped it out, all over Kylie! She thought it was hilarious, which also made Drew laugh! They are so cute together!

Monkey!

Drew is constantly climbing on everything!! I can't keep him on the floor!

Seiche

I witnessed a crazy thing at lake Michigan today, it is called Seiche. Basically it happens when there are storms across the lake and The water is pulled away from the shore! I took a picture of my friend Hillary's boys hanging out where the water was!

Training wheels

We finally convinced Miss Kylie to try her bike without training wheels!! After some tears of anxiety, she did awesome!

Tequila, happy feet, wine, and beer

Oh yeah and some chocolate and PF Changs....that was my Saturday! Todd went golfing with one of our neighbors, Grandma came and hung with the munchkins, and I went out with the wife of the guy Todd golfed with! Such a nice day!

Dance Camp

Kylie has been doing dance camp this week with two of her closest friends! I hope these girlies stay close friends, they are so much fun together!! Thanks Melissa for inviting Kylie and thanks Stephanie for letting Natalie do the camp too!

Nice night

Kylie and Drew and I got to enjoy the cool weather and we found friends to play with! I'm not gonna lie, I like the warm weather, tonight was nice, but I'm glad 67 is not what the temp has been or will be!

Friend time!

Sorry, I just realized I never posted yesterday! I went out with my book club! We went out on one of my friends! It was so nice to relax!
Today I went to lunch with my very dear friends! Some mommy time is good and the kiddos were fine both days!

Kylie wanted to get her pool out tonight, Todd and Drew enjoyed it more than she did!

Chillin like a villain

Drew and I got to hang out a little today while Todd and Kylie were at Y swimming. Well, Drew was sleeping for a little bit of the time and then when he got up, we watched some Tigers baseball. Little man loves to climb on everything and had so much fun sitting and rocking in the big chair!

PAR-TAY

Today was a big day of parties for little miss! She had a friend party early in the day for three of her friends from school and then we had grandpa's retirement party!
One of the moms at the first party made all of the girls cute flip flops with material on them! The girls were all so cute running around in them.
At grandpa's party Kylie wandered from table to table entertaining everyone while Drew cried. I am still not sure what his problem was, but he was unhappy! He found a glass and a fork and some fries that he could byplay with for awhile, and then cake was served and he became a happy buddy ;) Both munchkins were exhausted by the time we got home :)

100 years

Todd got hired in at Steelcase in the right year! They celebrated 100 years today! There was a big carnival for the employees and families! Kylie loves getting balloon creations and loves being with her friend, it is nice to have friends at daddy's new work :) Drew hung out in his stroller, I didn't get any good pictures of him, but got a cute one of Kylie, Josie, and Natalie!

Finally!

Even though Todd's softball game was at 8:05, I still brought the kids! Kylie loves going to the games and for whatever reason we haven't been able to go! It was only the fourth game, but still, it is odd that the kids haven't been yet! Drew doesn't remember going last year, but he seemed to like it!

A last minute good decision! Todd found tix on Craig's list, so we bought them! I guess it was the push we needed! We are here and it is going to be awesome! Brandi Carlise just opened and Dave sang one song with her......I am so glad we got tickets!!! Love me some Dave!!
