Vacation!

I forgot to post these last night, and haven't taken any pictures today, but I will get there :D
Kylie and I went with Melanie, Niklas, and Katelyn to the new Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park. Here is the new baby zebra and a picture of the cute kiddos on the wagon ride!

Cupcakes...mmmm....

We had my staff family picnic tonight, everyone was supposed to bring either a side dish or something yummy and sweet. I was debating between taco salad or cupcakes....is that really a question :D I asked Kylie and of course she said cupcakes, so I went with it. I decided to decorate them as flowers, I thought it would be fun and summery. I told Kylie my idea and she of course was all about it, so I let her pick the colors. I had fun making these, and was going to make leaves so the cupcake wasn't hanging out, but I ran out of time. I think they were still a hit, we ended up with about six left.

This was supposed to be posted on August 22nd, oops....They love eachother so much!! Kylie always wants to hold Drew and Drew's eyes just light up when he sees her, it is super cute!!!

And that is what I think about that....

Poor buddy has a little bit of a runny nose, this is how he was sleeping for his morning nap today....I guess he was telling me what he thought of this allergy or cold thing he has going on :D
I guess I should have brought my camera with me today, we really did a lot today. We went to the Y and the pool is finally open, so after Todd and I worked out, we got Kylie from the kidzone and went swimming for a little while, Drew isn't a big fan of water, so we didn't bring him in yet. Then we went to the Beekman house for an evening of swimming, jumping, and eating. I think Kylie will sleep well tonight! Hopefully Drew does too, he only took one good nap today, so he should be sleepy!

Tigers and Traffic, oh, and cute babies!

On Friday Todd and I went to the Tigers game. In the morning the kids were being super cute, so I have two pictures from Friday; one of the kids being cute, and the other of Alex Avila hitting a home run!

The top picture is the only one I got for today, on the way home we sat in traffic for about an hour......not the best picture, but kind of sums up our day!

Beautiful day at the beach......

Kylie and I took a drive out to Grand Haven today and met up with Hillary, Marshall, Fletcher, Rosi, Lara, Brady, Kendra and even baby Phoenix.....now I wish I would have gotten a group shot, bummer.....Drew stayed home with Nana and had a chill day at home.
Kylie was fearless and I had to tell her to get out of the water a couple of times when her lips were shivering! Hillary and the boys had two rafts and two boogie boards, she loved them!

A picture a day....

I haven't posted in forever and need to start somewhere! I stole this idea from a friend of mine, they did a picture a day for a whole year. I have decided that this will make me take a picture of something every day, even if I don't think it is going to make it into a scrapbook. It will also force me to post at least one picture each day for a whole year....there is no reason I can't do this, I am on the computer every day, I just need to make the time to plug in the camera and post on here. So, here it goes....wish me luck :D
